Chris Tremlett who is 6ft 7ins tall, plays for England cricket team. He is fast bowler. Tim Tremlett, a former Hampshire seamer, is his father and Maurice, who played for Somerset and England in the 1940s and 50s, is his grand father. he belongs to a well known cricket family. His first-class debut was against New Zealand A in the year 2000. He played for England Under-19 in India in the year 2000-01.
He was one of the member of England's 25-man development squad, ahead of the 2005 Ashes. He played in 2005 NatWest Series. After injuries hampered his career he was named in the academy in the year 2006.
